Dr. Elmar Witten is Managing Director of the AVK – Federation of Reinforced Plastics in Frankfurt since 2007.
Prior to this he had managerial functions in various training institutes. Among others he established a new manager academy in the German market and he was head of the training business of TUEV Rheinland for 6 years. Recently he was as the „Innovation Manager” of TUEV Rheinland across the group, responsible for the companies innovation management.
Elmar studied economics and extra occupational took a doctoral degree.
As Managing Director of the AVK he is a member of the Board of the EuCIA – the European Composites Industry Association. Besides he is spokesman of the trade organisation Composites Germany and he is in the executive board of the GKV – the umbrella organisation of the german plastics converters industry.
