Volker Mathes has been working for AVK - Industrievereinigung Verstärkte Kunststoffe, based in Frankfurt am Main, in the Business Development and Market Development department since April 2009. He previously worked at TÜV Rheinland Kraftfahrt GmbH as a project manager in the International Business Development/Strategy Projects department. He gained further professional experience in the area of service development at the TÜV Rheinland Academy. He also supported the central innovation process manager at TÜV Rheinland Holding in the implementation of a group-wide, systematic innovation management system.
During his studies at RWTH Aachen University, he was involved in various projects as a research assistant. He completed his studies there with a focus on competence development and innovation capability. He also worked as a management assistant in a small IT company.
