Rob has been involved in the composites industry for 30 years, working on manufacturing, tooling and design projects in nearly all market sectors from Formula One to Spacecraft. Rob spent nearly 20 years working for Lola Composites (in its many guises) as technical manager focused on the liaison between design and manufacture. . Rob joined the AMRC in 2012, having been associated with the composite centre since its inception in 2006. Rob was a key member of the team that delivered projects for McLaren that led to the reshoring of their tub manufacture to Sheffield, and has also led the development of the programmes that have resulted in the construction of the new AMRC COMPASS facility.
